Vehicle Electrification Study Scope of Work

On December 27, 2019, the Whidbey-Camano Islands Electric Vehicle Association was born in a coffee shop.

It came about as a result of a meeting to discuss the Scope of Work for study for Electrifying Island County.

Electric Water Taxis?

Looking to the past to adapt to the future of motion.

Yes! The Whidbey Island Electric Vehicle Association is currently working with the Island County Regional Transportation Planning Office to set up a fully fledged fleet of electric water taxis to get around within our county!

We will be working with locally owned businesses to be the suppliers and fundraisers for this effort as well!

Current proposed stops will include; Oak Harbor, Coupeville, Langley, Clinton, Camano Island, Warm Beach, and Freeland.
